In 2008, ESDs engaged in visionary groundwork to design an even more effective statewide delivery system to serve the next generation of Washington’s learners.
The redesign promises expanded partnerships throughout the educational community including early learning, career and technical colleges, universities, and business/industry. Within the ESD system itself, there will be greater emphasis on working across regional boundaries to guarantee greater availability of unique and specialized services requested by districts.
